The UBM TechWeb Game Network has appointed Kris Graft as editor-in-chief of leading B2B game website Gamasutra, also adding game journalism veteran Colin Campbell as business editor and Frank Cifaldi as a news editor. As editor-in-chief, Graft will now head editorial for the double Webby Award-winning Gamasutra, which continues to lead the market in exploring the art and business of gaming, and has a number of additional changes planned for 2011. Graft joined UBM TechWeb in 2009, initially serving as senior contributing editor for Gamasutra and content director for the Independent Games Festival. Most recently, he was senior news editor for the website. Prior to joining Gamasutra, Graft was senior news editor for Next-Gen.biz and Edge-Online. Gamasutra is also excited to announce the addition of industry veteran Colin Campbell, who is also chief creative officer at marketing agency Brand Narrative, as Gamasutra's business editor. He will be posting multiple custom stories weekly focusing on the games industry's emerging business models, key personnel, marketing trends and VC activities. Previously, Campbell was editor-in-chief of Next Generation, IGN and Games Business. Gamasutra's editorial team continues to add other notable journalists, with the site's Editors-At-Large now including Gamasutra veteran Leigh Alexander as well as CNN/Variety veteran Chris Morris. Regular news editors include UK correspondent Mike Rose and U.S. journalist Kyle Orland, with former 1UP news editor Frank Cifaldi also now also coming on board as a news contributor. Features director Christian Nutt and Game Developer magazine EIC Brandon Sheffield also continue to work extensively on the site, as the staff also increases the amount of articles written by game development practitioners -- from Tadhg Kelly through Margaret Robertson and beyond -- and expand the blogs section of the site.
