Brace yourself: E3 is here. This week, tens of thousands of game industry professionals are converging on the L.A. Convention Center and the surrounding area for the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, where many of the industry's major players will be detailing their product strategies for the rest of 2012 and beyond. Beginning Monday, Gamasutra's editorial staff will be on location at E3 with on-site coverage of breaking events, interviews, and in-depth analysis tailored for our unique audience of game industry professionals. Gamasutra readers can follow E3-specific news in this year's dedicated Gamasutra E3 2012 page, in association with outsourcing production firm Virtuos. All three hardware manufacturers -- Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo -- will deliver platform-oriented press conferences during the week, while major third parties Electronic Arts and Ubisoft will hold individual conferences to discuss their upcoming lineups.
