For Halloween 2020 I decided to compose a horror film orchestra piece. I have wanted to do a horror soundtrack but haven’t had the opportunity. So, I made my own! Just like #StayHomeSaveLives, I procured some terrific videos from great videographers and put them together as a visual component to the piece. This time I worked in Adobe After Effects instead of Premiere Pro.

I imagine this soundtrack as 7 different scenes following the story of our characters. friends! You know, scary movies really aren’t that scary without scary sounds. It’s true, just watch any scary film on mute, it’s just ridiculous.

So here is the Haunted House, the soundtrack to an imaginary scary story. Take some time away from the real horrors of 2020 to enjoy some scary fun. Grab a glass of wine and your headphones, sit on the couch and enjoy a thrilling story guided by music, that is completely told by you. It’s a musical journey full of creepy moments, jump scares, chase scenes, and more. And you tell me, do our heroes make it out ok?

I also composed an orchestra suite for the Game Jam game, "Silence Speaks". This piece was composed in about half a day due to the tight time restrictions. Enjoy!
