Dungeon Defenders, the downloadable action/tower defense game from independent developer Trendy Entertainment, has sold a million copies across consoles and PC in the last four months.

Newsbrief: Dungeon Defenders, the downloadable action/tower defense game from independent developer Trendy Entertainment, has sold a million copies across consoles and PC in the last four months. Reverb Publishing released the game for Windows, Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network in October 2011, and intends to put out a PS Vita version some time this year. Smartphone versions of the game were previously available for iOS, Android, and Xperia Play. The publisher says that's it's had particular success on Steam thanks to discounts and exclusive downloadable content, according to an interview with news site Joystiq. It plans to continue growing the Unreal Engine 3-powered game's sales by releasing more DLC and additional add-ons.
