Microsoft will launch a limited edition branded Modern Warfare 3 console bundle along with the game this November, the company announced as part of this weekend's Call of Duty XP event. The console itself will be painted with a Modern Warfare 3 theme (as pictured), and will come with two custom wireless controllers, a 320GB hard drive (the largest of any Xbox 360 console so far), and a copy of the game. Additionally, the console will play custom sounds from the game when it is powered on and when the tray eject button is pressed, similar to features announced for the recently-delayed Star Wars bundle. In addition to the bundle, Microsoft announced that it will also ship a branded wireless headset along with the console, to be sold separately. The artwork on the headsets will match that on the console bundle. The headset will be priced at $69.99, while the console bundle will be $399. The included wireless controllers will also be wold separately, at $59.99 each. The announcement was made as a part of this weekend's Gamasutra-attended Call of Duty XP fan event in Los Angeles. More coverage from the event is available here.
