Angry Birds developer Rovio has seen the behemoth title surpass over 350 million downloads in total across all versions of the game. Speaking at the Disrupt 2011 conference in San Francisco, and as reported by techology website TechCrunch, Rovio's general manager Andrew Stalbow revealed the figure had now been passed. The company had previously revealed back in June that the franchise had reached 250 million downloads across all versions, meaning that the series has seen over 100 million downloads in approximately 3 months. Before that, the Angry Birds series had seen over 50 million downloads in the space of a month. A market research study found this week that male game players are 35 percent more likely than females to convert from the free version of Angry Birds to the paid version. Specifically, males 18-24 are the most likely to convert: 29 percent more so than 25+, 32 percent more than 18-24 females, and 76 percent more than the game's lowest-converting demographic, females over 25.
