Tecmo Koei acquired Gust back in 2011, with the aim to take the studio's popular IP and branch it out into new genres. Now Gust will be merged with Tecmo Koei in October, under the name Gust Nagano Development Group. The idea behind the move, according to a translation from Gematsu, is to provide an environment that allows for better business coordination between the two outfits.
