EA DICE's Battlefield 3 shot to the top of the the UK software sales charts in its opening weekend, securing its place as the tenth biggest UK video game launch this year across all formats. Overall, Battlefield 3 outsold Medal of Honor, EA's first-person war shooter offering from last year, by two-to-one for first week sales -- in fact, Battlefield 3's first-week sales outsold every other Battlefield title's first-week sales combined. For the week ended October 29, and according to data from tracking firm ChartTrack, last week's number one Batman: Arkham City was forced down to second place, with a 52 percent drop in sales. FIFA 12 continued to sell strongly, still sitting at number three with a 14 percent drop in sales. Other big names in the chart that barely moved included Football Manager 2012, Just Dance 3, Forza Motorsport 4 and The Sims 3: Pets. After dropping down the charts a little, Zumba Fitness is moving back up again. The game still hasn't left the top ten since its initial release. Below are Chart-Track's all-platforms sales charts, which include unit sales of all versions of a given title, and the individual platform charts, which treat individual SKUs separately.
