Battlefront II developer EA Motive expands with Vancouver opening

Motive is currently working on an untitled Star Wars project, and was originally developing the title alongside Dead Space creator Visceral Games until the studio's closure in October 2017.

Newsbrief: Star Wars Battlefront II co-developer EA Motive Studios has expanded with the opening of a new office in Vancouver, Canada. 

Mitch Dyer, one of the writers behind Battlefront II, broke the news on Twitter, explaining the growing studio will be focusing on Star Wars, Plants vs. Zombies, and entirely new properties. 

Motive was founded in July 2015 by former Ubisoft exec and Assassin's Creed producer Jade Raymond. 

It's currently working on an untitled Star Wars project, and was originally developing the title alongside Dead Space creator Visceral Games until the studio's closure in October 2017.
