Newsbrief: Over 1 million copies of Starbreeze and Behaviour Digital's asymmetrical multiplayer horror title Dead By Daylight have now been sold.

The announcement was made as part of Starbreeze's Q2 financial report, and shows the game has gone from strength to strength since June, when it was revealed to have sold 270,000 copies

That initial sales boom allowed Starbreeze to recoup its publishing and development costs in less than a week.

The earnings release also reveals that the game brought in 39.9 million SEK ($4.74 million) for the quarter ended June 30, an substantial haul considering it only launched on June 14.
