EA Sports' FIFA 12 stormed the UK software sales charts last week, taking the top spot after a successful launch weekend. The football title saw the UK's third biggest all formats launch ever, with only Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 holding it back. Last week's number one Gears of War 3 was forced to relinquish the top of the chart after just one week, according to data from tracking firm Chart-Track. For the week ended October 1, 2011, there was only one other new entry to the chart besides FIFA 12 -- Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection entered at number seven. The usual suspects hung around, with the likes of F1 2011, Zumba Fitness and Dead Island at numbers three, four and five respectively. Elsewhere, Call of Duty: Black Ops once again entered the top 10, while Disney's Lego Pirates of the Caribbean held on at the bottom of the chart, staying in position at number nine. Below are Chart-Track's all-platforms sales charts, which include unit sales of all versions of a given title, and the individual platform charts, which treat individual SKUs separately.
