Newsbrief: Bioware has confirmed that the PC physical and digital versions of upcoming Mass Effect 3 will require the Origin digital distribution service to run. In a post on the Bioware forums, the company's Chris Priestly also explained that, while the game will be available to purchase from "a number of other 3rd party digital retailers," it will not be available to purchase or download via Valve's Steam service. He explained that Steam's "set of restrictive terms of service" does not currently allow the company to provide its customers with an efficient enough online service.
