FortressCraft, the Xbox Live Indie Game inspired by Mojang's popular PC title Minecraft, surpassed half a million sales in total over the weekend. The developer of the game revealed the news via Twitter, noting that it is the first Xbox Live Indie Game to reach this milestone. "After only 163 days of being available, I'm incredibly proud for FortressCraft [to] finally sell that magic half-million; thank you everyone," developer DjArcas said. He also explained that, as of yet, the development team hasn't received any money from sales of the game. At launch, FortressCraft saw over 16,000 sales within the first 24 hours after being available via XBLIG, with 70 percent of users who downloaded the demo going on to purchase the game. Last month, the development team revealed that the game had seen over 400,000 sales, with more than $1 million made, breaking the record for highest-grossing XBLIG to date.
