Indie sensation Minecraft has now sold over 4 million copies, with no signs that sales are slowing down -- in fact, the game is selling faster than ever. The game passed the four million milestone earlier today, with over 16 million registrations, signifying that approximately 25 percent of users who sign up to play the free version of the game, then go on to purchase the full version. Sales of Minecraft have sped up over the last six months. Back in April, the game reached two million sales in total. Two months later, it had sold an additional half a million copies. Less than another two months after that, the three million sales milestone was hit. Now, just two months on from that point, the game has sold another million, signalling that daily sales of the game have doubled in recent months. This total number of sales does not include sales of the Android, which was released earlier this year. The game is still only available as a beta download, with the full version due to be released later this month.
