Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 took to the top of the UK software sales charts last week in its opening week on sale, claiming the highest grossing opening week for any entertainment title ever. However, while the title saw higher opening week revenue than its predecessor Black Ops, it actually sold 1.6 percent less units than the previous title.
