The company announced today that the latest in the series, Monster Hunter 4 on Nintendo 3DS, has shipped 4 million units since its September 14 launch, including physical and digital sales. Total series sales stand at over 28 million units, Capcom said, and it ranks among the company's top franchises since launching in 2004.
