Nier: Automata has reached 3 million in worldwide shipments and digital downloads since launching back in February 2017.

Newsbrief: Nier: Automata has reached 3 million in worldwide shipments and digital downloads since launching back in February 2017.

Square Enix revealed the latest figures in a Japanese tweet, which was translated by the folks over at Siliconera

Platinum's acclaimed action-RPG is available on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, and managed to move 1 million copies in its first two months on shelves.

As of March this year it had shipped 2.5 million copies worldwide, meaning another 500,000 units have been shipped out in the months since.
