UK studio Lilith has canceled Allison Road; a horror game inspired by Hideo Kojima's scrapped Silent Hills playable teaser, P.T..

No reason has been given for the cancellation, which was announced on Twitter over the weekend, although the developer has promised to release a statement in the coming days.

Lilith originally planned to crowdfund Allison Road, but pulled the plug on its Kickstarter campaign in October last year when Team 17 offered to finance and publish the game.

At the time of the campaign’s cancelation, 4,482 backers had donated £145,959 ($222,5000) of the project’s £200,000 ($300,000) goal

Before it was canned, Allison Road was due to be published by Worms creator, Team 17.
