And Apple said that Minecraft: Pocket Edition, which first launched in November 2011, was the best-selling paid app on the App Store in 2013, while Candy Crush Saga was both the most downloaded free game, and the top-grossing game. Other games that received a mention in the top-selling lists for 2013 included Angry Birds Star Wars, Temple Run: Oz, Clash of Clans, and The Simpsons: Tapped Out.
