Alliance numérique and the Canadian Interactive Alliance have announced the winners of the Canadian Game Development Talent Awards, with the creators of Sword & Sworcery EP picking up multiple awards.

Digital content network Alliance numerique and the Canadian Interactive Alliance have announced the winners of the Canadian Game Development Talent Awards. The awards, held as part of the Montreal International Game Summit, aim to showcase the best of the Canadian gaming industry via seven categories. Apart from the main winners, as listed below, the awards also honored two industry veterans as the first inductees into the Canadian Gaming Hall of Fame. Denis Dyack, founder and president of Silicon Knights, was honored, along with Remi Racine, president and executive producer at Behaviour Interactive. Pierre Proulx, GM for Alliance numerique, said of the awards, "There is so much talent in Canada's game development community that we felt it was important to introduce an award that was dedicated solely to them." "We are very proud of all these inaugural winners and are looking forward to seeing the entire development community take their game to the next level for next year's awards."
