Newsbrief: Naughty Dog's The Last of Us saw the biggest launch of a new IP in the UK sales charts last week since L.A. Noire in early 2011. The critically acclaimed title took the top spot in the UK charts in its opening week, according to GfK Chart-Track, and is now the third fastest-selling game of 2013 in the UK after Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite. It was a notable week all around for retail video games sales in the UK, with The Last of Us backed up by the launch of Animal Crossing: New Leaf on Nintendo 3DS, entering the charts at number two.
