30 percent of Twitch viewers are watching on mobile

Newsbrief: Video game broadcasting giant Twitch has told Polygon that nearly a third of all Twitch viewers are watching broadcasts via mobile devices. The iOS and Android versions of the Twitch app allow you to watch live Twitch broadcasts and watch recordings back, while the iOS version offers the ability to listen to audio from a Twitch broadcast even when your mobile device is locked. And Twitch is looking to allow for the widespread streaming of mobile games too, with the recent introduction of the Twitch Mobile Software Development Kit.
