Kenneth Scott, art director at Halo studio 343 Industries and one of the original founding members of the company, has left to be closer to his family -- although he will still contribute as a consultant. In a blog post on the official Halo Waypoint website, executive producer Josh Holmes explained that Scott was instrumental in building the art team at the studio back in 2008. "It was hard to make this decision," said Scott. "This team has been my family for half a decade and I love them dearly. Helping build this studio and team is easily the highlight of my career. It's heartbreaking." Scott will continue to support 343 Industries as a Visual Design Consultant, provided aid for his replacement as art director Nicolas Bouvier, who has also been at the company since the beginning. The news comes in the same week that Joe Staten, writer and creative director on many of the Halo games at Bungie, has now joined Microsoft Studios. Correction: The article originally said Holmes is a designer at 343 -- he is in fact an executive producer. Apologies for any confusion.
