Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
Allow me to introduce myself.
I am Jason Pineo. I am 36 years old and living with my wife and son in Burnaby, Canada. Previously employed as a QA tester at a local software company, I am currently out of work. I am not the gamer I used to be, which is understandable since I don't practice like I used to. I have a good-sized book collection, as I love to read. I have a more moderate Transformers collection, consisting mostly of variants of Optimus Prime. I am probably not as geeky as I think I am. I am a perfectionist with a tendency to procrastinate, which is a glib way of saying that I sometimes don't start projects I want to work on because I'm afraid that the result won't live up to my expectations. I also have some residual mental fallout from ADHD when I was younger, which is the glib way of saying that I'm distractible, even from projects I want to work on (though it paradoxically also means I can become hyper-focused on something that I *am* interested in).
And I'm interested in Lunchbox.
