Sony has entered into an agreement with Amazon, by which the latter is now offering a dedicated PlayStation Network storefront on its website, through which PS3, PS4 and PS Vita users can buy digital games. Up to this point, PSN users looking to purchase digital PlayStation games had to do so through the official PlayStation store, either through a browser, or through a PlayStation console. With today's launch of the PlayStation Network storefront from Amazon, users can now buy PSN codes directly from Amazon, and activate them on a PlayStation device. As part of the launch, the pair of companies are also running a variety of deals to get consumers onboard, such as buy two, get one free on PlayStation 4 games, and $5 credit back on select PSN purchases. Notably, this agreement only applies to the U.S. Amazon and PlayStation stores for now, with no word as-of-yet on whether it is coming to other regions.
