Atlus Announces Insect Wars Localization Drone Tactics For DS

Atlus U.S.A. has announced that it has signed the turn-based Nintendo DS strategy RPG Drone Tactics, a localization of Success Corp's Insect Wars, and is planning a March 25th, 2008 release for the title.

Atlus U.S.A. has announced the turn-based strategy RPG Drone Tactics, a localization of Success Corp's Insect Wars, for Nintendo DS, planned for a March 25th, 2008 release. Drone Wars features a player-controlled squad of insect mecha robots, and tasks the player with holding off an army of evil Drones in the alien land of Cimexus. Players build their own army, comprised of a broad array of insect mechs that have individual strengths and weaknesses, with over 100 weapons, upgrades and powerups with which to customize them. The title also features multiple campaign operations and 50 maps, and the title also supports head-to-head combat over local wireless connection.
