Bethesda Softworks has revealed its first step into the world of free-to-play games, with an online multiplayer melee combat game set in a post-apocalyptic world. Battlecry is from ZeniMax's Battlecry Studios, the Austin, Texas developer headed up by Rich Vogel, who was previously executive producer on Star Wars: The Old Republic. Much of the game's visual design has been envisioned by Half-Life 2 and Dishonored designer Viktor Antonov. The game is due to launch next year. The above reveal trailer accompanies the announcement.
