Boss Key co-founder and COO Arjan Brussee is leaving the LawBreakers developer and heading back to Epic Games.

Brussee founded Boss Key back in 2014 with game designer Cliff Bleszinski, who wished his colleague well and allayed fears about the studio's future.

"He is not only a brilliant person but also a dear friend and I wish him well in his future endeavors, tweeted Bleszinski. "Onward and upward, we're still making games here!"

The industry veteran started his game development journey at Epic Games during the '90s, and will now return to the studio to work on an "exciting secret project."

He was also a co-founder and production director at Killzone and Horizon Zero Dawn developer Guerrilla Games, and had a spell at EA where he served as Battlefield: Hardline's executive producer.
