At the E3 Sony press conference, developer CCP announced that Dust 514, its upcoming online persistent shooter will be exclusive for PlayStation Network, and that the game will interact with the company’s own EVE Online. The sci-fi shooter focuses on ground-based combat, and CCP says it will interact with EVE Online on the PC, though the company did not detail specifics during the event. However, previous information on the game noted that the title mixes first-person shooter and real-time strategy elements in a persistent virtual world set within the EVE Online universe. Commanders and ground infantry work together in the game using "real-time configurable modular weapons and vehicles to adapt to and control dynamic battlefield conditions." In addition to the PlayStation 3, Dust 514 will be available on Sony’s upcoming NGP handheld. CCP also announced that the game will have Move support, and a dedicated PlayStation Home space.
