Earlier this year, we talked to Moon Hunters lead designer Tanya Short about the best ways for creating procedurally generated narrative in Moon Hunters. This week, Short and her team at Kitfox Games released a new update for their mythmaking action-RPG, introducing a new set of characters and adjustments to the flow of gameplay to encourage players to take breaks.

To catch up with Short and figure out what she’s learned about procedural generation since we last talked to her, we’re going to be streaming Moon Hunters on our Twitch channel today at 3PM EST. If you’re a developer interested in making procedurally generated myths, or you’re curious about what it takes to keep the lights on at an indie game company, you should tune in and join us as we talk with Short while playing the latest Moon Hunters update.

And while you’re at it, be sure to subscribe to our Twitch channel for regular developer interviews and gameplay commentary, and catch up on last week’s stream of Dishonored 2’s Clockwork Mansion with Arkane Studios co-creative director Harvey Smith.
