Electronic Arts today announced a new dynamic platform, designed to provide game marketers with audience insights for mobile, social, online and console games. EA Legend aims to aggregate metrics for participating titles, create social buzz and increase ad effectiveness, by giving developers access to its userbase of over 300 million people worldwide. The company notes that the EA Legend services will allow developers to deliver better, more relevant experiences to its users. Dave Madden, SVP of Global Media Solutions at EA, explained, "EA increased its worldwide audience reach by 30 percent this year across its mobile, social, online and console products." "Combining that major jump in reach with the launch of EA Legend puts us in perfect position to compete directly for ad dollars that have traditionally gone to TV. EA Legend gives us an edge by providing marketers with actionable insights across all of our platforms and a complete view into how their campaigns are driving engagement with consumers." EA plans to fully unveil the platform at Advertising Week in New York City next week on October 4.
