Electronic Arts' recently-promoted COO Peter Moore will be honored at a sports marketing awards show next month. At the second annual PromaxBDA Sports Media Marketing Awards, Moore -- who was the president of the company's EA Sports division prior to his August promotion -- will be honored with the "Lifetime Innovator Award." Moore has over 25 years of marketing experience. Prior to his 2007 hire at EA, he was the VP of Microsoft's Interactive Entertainment division, where he helped launch both the Xbox and Games for Windows businesses. Prior to Microsoft Moore was the president and COO of Sega of America. Prior to that, he was the SVP of marketing at Reebok International. In addition to being the recipient of the award, Moore will also give a keynote talk at the show called "Moving the Goalposts," centered around new media marketing. The PromaxBDA Sports Media Marketing Summit takes place November 15 at New York's Millennium Broadway Hotel. More information on the official website.
