Newsbrief: Perhaps among the most embattled MMOs ever created, Final Fantasy XIV relaunched today in North America as A Realm Reborn, having previously launched in 2010 to a massively negative reception. Square Enix admitted back in 2011 that it was not proud of Final Fantasy XIV. However, rather than take the MMO offline, the company instead chose to entirely revamp the game, and re-release it years later as a completely different experience. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is now available to NA audiences on Windows PC and PlayStation 3, with monthly subscriptions starting at $12.99. More information can be found on the official website.
