Import publisher MonkeyPaw Games today announced the launch of the Japanese import section on the European PlayStation Network, with three classic titles now available. The first titles available as part of the scheme are RPG Arc the Lad, and shooters Cho Aniki and Arcade Hits: Sonic Wings Special. Each title costs 4.99 euros, and is "untouched" compared to the original releases, according to publisher MonkeyPaw. The company also noted that this is just the "first slew of many upcoming titles to be available for digital download on the PlayStation Network Import section." John Greiner, who founded MonkeyPaw Games last year, explained, "MonkeyPaw’s mission is to share these forgotten gems with gamers around the globe." "We’re excited to offer our digital download import and classic titles to the European PlayStation Store. It’s just a taste of what’s to come." MonkeyPaw announced its intent to import classic Japanese titles to the PlayStation Store last year, and launched the service in the U.S. later in the year.
