Mobile games company Ngmoco has hired former Crytek director Senta Jakobsen to join its new Sweden studio as senior development director. Jakobsen has worked in the industry for over 10 years, most recently as the senior development director at Crytek. Prior to that position, she was COO at Battlefield: Bad Company developer DICE. Ben Cousins, the current general manager at Ngmoco Sweden, and previously the sole employee of the branch before Jakobsen joined, divulged the news via Twitter. "Very happy to announce that joining Ngmoco Sweden today as employee #2 is Senta Jakobsen, senior development director," he revealed. "So happy to be able to welcome Senta back to Sweden and to have such a senior, experienced and respected person joining me to run the studio," he continued. Cousins was hired in June, leaving EA to form the new studio in Sweden, which will focus on creating free-to-play games for DeNA’s Mobage social gaming platform, as well as titles for a global audience.
