The annual Game Education Summit, a gathering of educational professionals to discuss best teaching practices for game dev education, has been rescheduled to coincide with the Serious Play Conference. The summit, which was meant to take place last week in Redmond, had to be rescheduled "due to a number of factors beyond our control," according to the organizers. The new dates are August 24th and 25th. The venue, the Digipen Institute of Technology in Redmond, Washington, is unchanged. Attendees will be able to take advantage of both conferences simultaneously for the same cost of admission, according to the organizers. Speakers currently scheduled for the summit include Unity's Tom Higgins, Ubisoft Red Storm's Steve Reid, and Autodesk's David Della-Rocca. More information on the summit is available on its official website.
