Game marketing veteran Bruce Everiss has joined the newly formed mobile game developer Kwalee, where he will serve as the studio's Chief Marketing Officer. Everiss will join company head and Codemasters co-founder David Darling, who first revealed the new mobile-focused studio earlier this month. The UK-based start-up is currently in the process of recruiting staff members, and is aiming to develop "unique and rewarding" apps for mobile devices. "This must be the best job in the world for someone with my skillset, the opportunities afforded by the app market and Kwalee's approach to it are boundless," said Everiss. Currently, Everiss runs a personal blog dubbed Bruce on Games, and has previously held marketing positions at Imagine and Codemasters. In 2009, Everiss helped speak out against the free-to-play strategy game Evony, a title that featured a highly-suggestive marketing campaign, and was accused of supporting spammers and goldfarming. In 2010, the developer issued a statement saying the game's suggestive "have not met our standards."
