The company revealed that it saw a 50 percent increase in sales for 2011 compared to the previous year, and is opening the new offices to help support the launch of its ad-supported free-games platform Void next year. Gamersgate CEO Theodore Bergquist also noted that the New York offices will put the company in a closer proximity to numerous big-name publishers, with the hope to entice more publishers to the service in 2012.
