Newsbrief: Borderlands studio Gearbox Software has raised $16,000 for the Videogame History Museum, in a bid to help preserve and archive the history of the video game industry. The money was raised via the selling of Gearbox memorabilia to the public, such as signed Borderlands 2 'Loot Chests', and unique art pieces from Gearbox concept artists. The museum, a registered non-profit charity which ran a successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2011, is looking to establish a physical location in the San Jose/Silicon Valley area to serve as an interactive education exhibit.
