CD Projekt-owned classic games-on-demand service Good Old Games is expanding its output to also include new titles, following the success seen from its self-published The Witcher 2.
CD Projekt's classic game distribution service Good Old Games is expanding its business to include newer titles, the company recently confirmed. At a company conference in Poland on Thursday, managing director Guillaume Rambourg confirmed the news, saying that the move will "continue GOG.com's success story." "Traditionally, GOG.com has looked for great classics that are three years old or older," he said, as reported by MCV. "We will continue to add classic games, of course, but we are actively working to sign newer titles now." As with its classic game offerings, Rambourg said that the new titles will continue to adhere to the company's player-friendly strategy of offering games with no DRM and at a worldwide price point. As such, the company is focusing its attention on "ambitious developers and independent publishers."
