Today, Grasshopper Manufacture and Hungarian studio Digital Reality announced that their upcoming downloadable shoot 'em up Sine Mora will be published by Microsoft as an XBLA exclusive. The game, first announced last year, blends classic arcade mechanics with a time manipulation system, and is a collaborative effort between Grasshopper and Digital Reality. In addition to Sine Mora, the studios are also working together to create the side-scrolling action game Black Knight Sword. While Sine Mora does not yet have a firm release date, the game's official website points to a targeted winter launch. Outside of this partnership with Digital Reality, Grasshopper is at work on a few other collaborative projects. In October, the Shadows of the Damned and No More Heroes developer revealed that it is working with Japanese mobile gaming company DeNA to create social mobile games for the Mobage platform. In addition, Grasshopper recently began a new amateur development program targeted at Japanese game development schools. Digital Reality is one of the oldest Hungarian development studios, with its earliest games dating back to the Amiga personal computer. Most recently, the studio has developed games such as the downloadable Dead Block and iOS games like Liberty Wings and Scarabeus: Pearls of Nile.
