Hello Gamasutrians!!

I talk about my desire for gaming design, production and where it all stems from. The story begins as a young ignorant boy in the slums of Brooklyn of the city known as New York.

As a very small child I watched my mother conquer Super Mario on the Nintendo console dozens of times. She was so dedicated to Mario and his conquest in saving Princess Peach, so dedicated that every night at the same exact time she would turn on that console which was connected to a brown and gray hand me down television set. She would allow me and two of my younger siblings to sit at her bedside within a non-interruptable distance. We watched as she did what we thought at the time as impossible. We kneeled in awe as she literally ran through 12 vigorous stages of platforming within a handful of hours. And what happened next was even more amazing, no it wasn't the final battle with Bowser or finally seeing the game come to an end. She got up from her bed , went to the window, lit a cigarette and took a few pulls while looking out into the night. Then she sat back down, gazed over at us and smiled, then she proceeded to start the game all over again. We all looked at each other in disbelief, what human could try and conquer the world of Mario twice in a night?

....to be continued.
