Opinion: How will Project 2025 impact game developers?
The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
Indie devs, there is a new way to hype your game! Epocu is a cool free service that I just discovered! Looks like kickstarter but instead of funding games you support them with social reach! Check it out and support our game at http://bsgam.es/ti-epocu
Epocu lets you present your upcoming games and game concepts in a very similar way kickstarter does. However visitors support your project with their social reach rather than funding your game.
You simply press the support button and link your Twitter, Facebook or Tumblr to epocu and if the goal of the campaign has been reached epocu posts for all of the supporters at the same time. You can still personalize your message, which is a really great way to still make the post your own. The cool thing about the concept is that everyone of your supporter will post at the same time granting you potentially more visibility on the social networks.
Epocu is a website that was just launched by Copenhagen based Kunju Studios and just as a disclaimer I have not association with them whatsoever. I just stumbled upon the website yesterday and I thought it's worth supporting and trying it out ourselves.
What do you think about a service like that? Please comment below and support us with our own little campaign at http://bsgam.es/ti-epocu
