Newsbrief: iOS developers take note: Apple's latest OS version, iOS 9, is now on 75 percent of Apple's devices, the company revealed today via an updated chart on its App Store developer portal.

19 percent of devices are on iOS 8, with just 7 percent on any earlier version of the OS (yes, that adds up to 101 percent, for some reason.)

Adoption of iOS 9 is going faster than iOS 8; VentureBeat reports that it took iOS 8 six months to hit 75 percent adoption, but iOS 9 did it in less than four months.

It means that you can rely on a large section of your user-base for games to have the latest OS -- and take advantage of the latest features.
