The Heritage Foundation's manifesto for the possible next administration could do great harm to many, including large portions of the game development community.
"We have not been able to meet the vision that we had initially set."
Kabam is shutting down mobile fighter Marvel Realm of Champions after just over a year.
The freemium title, a spin-off set in the continuity of Marvel Content of Champions, will be laid to rest on March 31, 2022, and has already been pulled from the App Store and Google Play Store.
Realm of Champions launched on December 16, 2020, but Kabam explained it has struggled to deliver its initial vision for the title.
"When we started to develop Marvel Realm of Champions, we set out to create a fast-paced action RPG with competitive PVP battles, and the ability to customize your own Marvel Champions in the way that you want," said the studio in a blog post.
"Despite making multiple adjustments and changes along the way, we have not been able to meet the vision that we had initially set."
Players won't be able to make in-app purchases in Realm of Champions going forward, but will be treated to unreleased gear sets and weapons. The price of items like gear creates and crafting crystals has also been lowered.
Kabam has pledged to bring Realm of Champions' main narrative to a close before the servers are switched off, and is trying to pull players over to Contest of Champions by offering an "adjustment package."
