Newsbrief: Japanese game developer Keiji Inafune and his team at Comcept have opened a second round of crowd-funding for their upcoming platformer Mighty No. 9. Inafune turned to Kickstarter last year for his next game, and brought in nearly $4 million in funding. Now the team behind the upcoming game has chosen to start a new round of crowd-funding outside of Kickstarter, which it says is in aid of adding additional content to the game. The team was keen to stress that this new funding will go towards bonus content, such as English voice acting, rather than towards finishing the game. At the time of writing, the move appears to be seeing a minor backlash, with the above video from Inafune receiving hundreds of downvotes.
