PUBG: Battlegrounds developer Krafton has purchased Smash Legends developer 5minlab for a total of $19.9 million.

What does 5minlab have that the wildly successful Krafton is looking for? More resources for mobile game development of course. In a statement, Krafton CEO CH Kim praised 5minlab for being "an independent studio with outstanding developers who possess excellent technical skills."

"With our support, we only hope to embolden 5minlab’s ability to create exciting new titles," he added.

Along with Smash Legends, 5minlab has developed Como in Adventure, Brickscape and Express Thru.
