Lucid Games partners up with 2K to develop iOS racing game

Lucid Games, the studio staffed by former Bizarre Creations designers, has finally revealed what many were waiting for -- a new driving game in the same vein as the Project Gotham Racing series.

Lucid Games, the studio staffed by former Bizarre Creations designers, has finally revealed what many were waiting for -- a new driving game in the same vein as the Project Gotham Racing series. Lucid was formed after Activision closed Bizarre back in 2011. With plenty of driving game experience under its belt, the studio has now announced 2K Drive, with 2K Games fittingly publishing the title. Launching exclusively for iOS devices later this year, the game will feature real-world locations, multiple different styles of racing, mini-games, and asynchronous multiplayer. Lucid is no doubt keen to knock Real Racing 3 off its iOS racing game pedestal.
