Newsbrief: NCSoft's MMORPG Aion will be distributed under a free-to-play model in Europe starting in February. The MMO, which launched in 2009, previously operated under a monthly subscription model. The switchover is being done as part of a partnership with German publisher Gameforge, exclusively in Europe. The game will continue to be subscription-based in all other regions.
