Mobile Veteran Al Wood Joins Tapjoy As CFO

Former Veraz Networks CFO Al Woods has joined mobile ad network Tapjoy, the company said Tuesday. The hire comes just on the heels of a $30 million funding round, and will arm the company for its planned growth. This is truly a unique opportunity with tremendous potential." Woods' previous company, Veraz Networks, is a supplier of VoIP networks and equipment. Woods led the company from a late stage startup to a public company, which merged with Dialogic Corporation in 2010. Prior to Veraz, Woods was the CFO of OS and applications company PalmSource.
